Josh Navidi named in Wales rugby squad for summer tour
Wales head coach Warren Gatland announced the Wales rugby squad for their three-test summer tour, kicking off in just over three weeks time.
World In Motion client Josh Navidi is one of the 31-man squad, whose first test will see them travel to Washington D.C where they will face the Springboks on June 2nd. The team will then head South to Argentina, with two games against the Pumas on June 9th in San Juan and June 16th in Santa Fe.
It is no surprise that Navidi has been included in the summer tour squad following an extremely successful season with his Cardiff Blues team in the PRO14. Internationally, Navidi has proved to be a stand out performer, representing Wales in four matches during his first Six Nations Championship this year. Navidi, who was first capped against Japan in June 2013 has gone on to start nine of the last 11 Tests for Wales in 2017-18.
Following a stunning 16-10 victory in the Challenge Cup semi-final over Pau earlier this month, Cardiff Blues are set to face Gloucester Rugby this Friday in the Challenge Cup final. Navidi and his fellow team are looking to claim a second Challenge Cup and continue his fine form through the summer tour.
