Johansson Completes Malmo Switch

Striker Jonatan Johansson has signed a two-year contract with Allsvenskan side Malmo after leaving English Premier League club Charlton Athletic on a free transfer. Johansson spent six years with Scottish club Rangers before moving to Charlton in 2003 for £3.75 million. The Finland international, who has 70 caps for his country, will link up with compatriot Jari Litmanen at the Malmo Stadion.
“After nine years in a foreign country, it feels great to have a new challenge,” said Johansson. “I would like to keep playing at a high level, and this feels right. I hope to help Malmo reach the success that the club aims for.”
