Deal Done: Remi Matthews joins Bolton Wanderers!

World in Motion / GK1 client Remi Matthews joins Bolton Wanderers from Norwich City on a loan deal which is set to become permanent in January.

Matthews came through Norwich City’s youth academy, and leaves the Canaries after 14 years.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper spent last season at Plymouth Argyle, with 27 appearances in all competitions.  Matthews previously had loan spells at Burton Albion, Doncaster Rovers and Hamilton Academical.

Speaking to the Bolton Wanderer’s official site, Remi said:

“I’m delighted to be here.  This is a massive club that is going places and the main thing for me is that I wanted to come to a football club with ambition.”

We wish Remi all the best at his new club!
