Statement from World in Motion Chairman Andy Evans⁣

In the light of the ongoing crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we support and welcome the announcements made today by the Board of the Premier League offering significant financial support to the NHS and equally the wider communities affected by this disaster. ⁣

Further discussions will no doubt take place in the coming days regarding salary deferrals amongst our clients, across not only professional football (Men and Women) but also in Rugby Union and Cricket, and our agents shall be constructive participants in those talks. ⁣

Moreover, in our own attempts to assist the NHS in such demanding times, and their brave and hardworking staff in particular, we can confirm that we have:⁣

a) made a significant cash contribution from the World in Motion Foundation to the NHS⁣
b) offered the nearby Charing Cross Hospital full access to and use of our Head Office premises in Fulham, and⁣
c) a donation of PPE has been made available to nurses and carers⁣ ⁣
Finally, may I take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to all our clients, staff, partners and supporters and to the sporting public at large.⁣

Yours in Sport,⁣

Andy Evans⁣
