Sam Evans represents Wales U19

World in Motion client Sam Evans scored twice in Wales U19 2-0 victory over Montenegro on Tuesday 22nd April at Dragon Park, Newport. The Swansea City U18 player only came on in the 55th minute, but scored both his team’s goals in a good victory for Wales.

Tom Heaton and Burnley promoted to the Premier League

Everyone at World in Motion would like to congratulate client Tom Heaton for his part played in Burnley’s promotion back to the Premier League on Monday. Tom has played an important role throughout the season after arriving on a free transfer from Bristol City, and secured the No.1 spot as his own. We now wish him well in what will be a challenging campaign for Burnley in the Premier League 2014/15 season.

Fans’ favourite Alan McCormack promoted with Brentford to the Championship

World in Motion would like to congratulate client Alan McCormack on securing promotion to the Championship with his team Brentford. Alan has played regularly throughout Brentford’s push for promotion after joining from Swindon Town in the summer of 2013, missing just 3 matches in League One. We wish Alan well in the Championship next season.

Leke James joins World in Motion

21 year old striker Leke James has signed with World in Motion.

The 6’2 Nigerian is on the cusp of the Nigerian national team having scored 10 goals in 25 games for Aalesund in the 2013 season.

Aalesund turned down a bid of 1.5m euros for James at the end of the 2013 season.

Future Black Star debuts for Rio Ave

Future Black Star, Ernest Ohemeng, made his debut for Rio Ave in the Portuguese Top flight aged just 18 at the weekend.  The young Ghanaian was a stand out performer in his first senior game, playing a big part in Rio Ave’s goal.

Ernest is on loan at Rio Ave from Ghanaian club Cheetahs FC until the summer.

U20 World Cup Golden Boot winner signs to WiM

Ghana U20 star Ebenezer Assifuah-Inkoom signs with World in Motion.  Ebenezer scored 6 goals in the Under 20 World Cup in Turkey in 2013 finishing ahead of Silver Boot winner Bruma (5 goals) and Real Madrid star Jese Rodriguez (also 5 goals) who picked up the Bronze Boot.  Ebenezer was signed shortly after the tournament by FC Sion in Swtzerland.
