Thievy completes move to Premier League

World in Motion are delighted to announce that we have successfully brokered the move of RCD Espanyol forward Thievy Bifouma to West Bromwich Albion. Thievy, a France U21 international, joins initially until the end of the season. Baggies coach Pepe Mel said of the move: “Thievy is a good striker. He is quick, can score goals and is able to play across the front three positions.” World in Motion would like to wish Thievy the best of luck at The Hawthorns.

Tom Hateley signs for Slask Wroclaw

Tom Hateley signed for Polish Premier League club Slask Wroclaw on the 23rd January 2014. Tom has joined the biggest club in Southern Poland from Tranmere Rovers – Slask Wroclaw have finished 2nd, 1st and 3rd during the past three seasons, and have recently inherited a 42,000-seater stadium following UEFA EURO 2012 which was held in Poland & Ukraine. Tom signs on a two-and-a-half year contract.

Young Ghanaian joins Rio Ave

World in Motion player Ernest Ohemeng has joined Rio Ave on loan until the end of the season. The young left winger had a trial with Club Brugge in November, but has now committed his short term future to the Portuguese Premier League club.

Swedish international Hysén moves to Shanghai East Asia

World in Motion have successfully concluded the transfer of Swedish international forward Tobias Hysén from IFK Gothenburg to Shanghai East Asia. In another successful transfer for our China operation, Hysén – capped 31 times by Sweden – signs a two-year deal having scored 14 goals in the Allsvenskan last season.

Hull City defender Conor Townsend agrees new contract

World in Motion are pleased to announce that client Conor Townsend has agreed a new eighteen- month contract with Hull City. The club have also agreed to allow Townsend to return to Carlisle United for the rest of the season after impressing in a three-month loan spell.

Tom Cairney completes move to Blackburn Rovers

World in Motion are delighted to announce that client Tom Cairney has signed for Blackburn Rovers on a three-and-a-half year contract. Cairney, 22, had spent the first half of the season on loan at Ewood Park, making 24 appearances for the Rovers.
