A team comprising free agents from across Europe, assembled by World in Motion from the company’s offices in Portugal, France, Hungary and Austria, took on Bury Football Club this week in a pre-season friendly in front of watching scouts from the Premier League and Football League. Although a strong Bury side eventually ran out 3-0 winners after a first half stalemate, it was an impressive effort from a Free Agent XI who went into the game unacquainted with their team-mates and short on match fitness. On the back of the fixture, several players have earned themselves trials which are currently ongoing, most notably Boldizsar Bodor at Leeds United, Maxime Brillault Crystal Palace and Martin Pusic at Hull City. World in Motion will be looking to repeat the successful exercise in 2012.
